Meet Our Founder
Arlene Edwards, MA, LPC, ICAADC
Arlene is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, and Florida, a Certified Life Coach, and a Consultant. She has several years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings. Her experience ranges from addressing difficulties that interfere with daily functioning such as anxiety, depression, anger management, stress, and relationship conflict to more complex issues such as trauma, persistent mental illness, and addiction. As a clinician, Arlene has worked with diverse, underserved, and at-risk populations. It is her belief that no one should be denied access to services due to age, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or due to limited resources.
Prior to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor, Arlene worked as a Laboratory Analyst for a pharmaceutical company. Although her love for science runs deep, Arlene felt she was being called to fulfill a greater purpose which resulted in her becoming a Certified Life Coach. Arlene has a passion for helping others and has been able to use this passion to help others increase internal motivation, identify and overcome barriers to success, and accomplish personal and professional goals in order to create purposeful change in their lives.
As a Consultant experienced in project management and event planning, Arlene has guided countless businesses and organizations through project and event deadlines. She is able to assess strengths, weaknesses, and provide solutions to challenges encountered. Arlene is all things planning and execution; there is no project too big or too small for her.
Arlene founded 3E Counseling & Consulting to provide a unique and accessible blend of services while using non-traditional approaches to help clients transform their lives, businesses, and organizations. She currently serves as the CEO with a mission to educate, empower, and elevate not only clientele but her local community as well. Arlene has an unquenchable need to help others and also serves as the President of her non-profit foundation M.A.D. (Making A Difference) With Love and serves as the Anti-Basileus (Vice President) of the Mu Pi Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated. Her life’s work, passion, and dedication to service has provided her with the skills necessary to help others discover their true purpose, reach their full potential, and succeed through 3E.
